Carrie-Anne Moss

CarrieCarrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 [1] is a Canadian actor from Canada. In her early television roles She rose to fame internationally for her portrayal in the role of Trinity in The Matrix series (1999-present). Memento (2000) was her first major role. She won the Independent Spirit Award, Best Supporting Female, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) earned her the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress, Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) were some of her TV roles. While in Spain, Moss obtained a part as Tara, the clerk to Judge Nicholas Marshall in the drama series Dark Justice, her first television appearance. With the series, she moved from Barcelona to Los Angeles in 1992. Moss was forced to leave Dark Justice after the third and last season. Elisa Heinsohn replaced her as Samantha "Sam". She was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena when she returned, and then she was a part of Fox's soap opera in primetime Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. The series was cancelled in July 1995. Matrix, a produced in Canada series was also the mainstay of and was ended in July 1995. [3] Throughout the 1990s she appeared in several television series including Street Justice and Baywatch. She also appeared in F/X: The Series and Due South. Due South received her a nomination for the Gemini Award for Best Guest actor in the field of drama. She starred in many B-movie parts throughout the decade and included Flashfire (1994) as well as The Soft Kill(94), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
