Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by the shadows she observed in the earth, the artist spent many months experimenting with a method that allows objects to be represented with two dimensions onto canvas. Rather the subject is transformed into a reproduction of itself, where the surface transforms into the medium for it's individual interpretation of the subject, particularly when the subjects are live or perishable objects, such as people or fruits. The style that Alexa paints is very ephemeral. Only the images of her work are preserved. Photographs and painting are together to produce two-dimensional flat surface which is a trompe l'oeil. In certain places, three dimensions are observed, such as close to the eyes or in the hair. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to engage with their own self-created environment. By doing so, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and performing.
