Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada and is American. She has produced over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock and alternative. However, it has influences from punk, hip-hop and jazz. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist hero and a Grammy award winner. In the beginning, as one of the first female artists in the 90s, she founded her record label. DiFranco was the child of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They met in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was of Italian origin and her mother came from Montreal. 32 Flavors was a track composed and performed by Ani DiFranco.
