Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and received straight A's on her A-levels. In response to questions about her Emmerdale role, she said it was regrettable that she didn't having had a typical University experience. Coleman played on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival and a band called In Yer Space, which she participated in during her time at school. She won an award for her performance while the production was also praised. Coleman obtained the part of Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. It happened in 2005. In 2007, Coleman was awarded two Awards. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards: in the British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer, as well as the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was awarded in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press meeting that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's character following Karen Gillan left. Moffat has chosen her for the role due to her ability to work well with Smith and also spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's participated in TV and film projects. She has spent more time in films than on TV. In all the roles Eva has played on TV shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which have stood out. It was the former that gave Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. The actress also had the chance to showcase her creativity by performing music. Eva as well as being a performer, is an entrepreneur and charity employee. Eva is a philanthropist, as well as an entrepreneur.
