Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight A grades in all her A-levels. When discussing her character on Emmerdale, Coleman said that she regrets not having had a typical University experience. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while during her time at university. She was a part of the group at the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press announcement that Coleman is set to play Matt Smith's character in the event that Karen Gillan left. Moffat has chosen her for the role because she proved to be the most effective with Smith and spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Eva is well-known for her role as her character, Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. Eva was nominated for two "Daytime Emmy Awards" for her first part while she was also given the an opportunity to explore her artistic talents. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and charity worker. Eva is married to three men and has one child born from the third.
