Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to play the role of companion because she would work best with Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva's TV roles on"Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami are notable. Her first TV role earned the show two Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop her love for music. Eva is an entrepreneur as well as an actress. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her previous husband.
