Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for more than 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Then, in 1956 she got her first big break on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as a successful director in several well-known television series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained there ever since.
