Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was raised in an environment that was artistic. Her first job was as a photo assistant after that she moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw quickly became famous in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the world in just three movies. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
